Freycinet (Level 8, Grade 5) - DIGITAL STUDIO LICENSE
Freycinet National Park on the east coast of lutruwita/Tasmania is stunningly beautiful. The area was named after French navy explorer Louis de Freycinet. Dominated by the pink-hued Hazards, the azure water and white sands of Wineglass Bay is one of Tasmania’s most celebrated views which composer Michela Pinner has visited dozens of times during her life. Written in 2015, this piece characterises the calm and serenity of Freycinet with a subtle French influence from Erik Satie’s Gymnopédies.
